Heipsansaa, rakkaat ressut!
Nauttikaamme ansaitusta pidennetystä viikonlopusta, vaikka tiedämme, että teette kuitenkin enemmän kouluhommia kuin suinkaan tarvitsisi!
Joulukuun neljäs päivä on kilahtanut kalenteriin, ja vuorossa onkin jotain suorastaan kutkuttavan jännittävää. Tästä aiheesta eivät nimittäin tiedä muut kuin hyvin hereillä olleet opettajat ja koulumme abiturientit...
Oletteko koskaan ihmetelleet, miksi ruokalamme takaseinällä komeilee ”Vladimirinkatu takaisin!” –kyltti? Noh, voin osittain paljastaa sen tarkoitusperän. Kyltin on inspiroinut vuonna 2015 keväällä järjestetty KULTTUURIVIIKKO, joka on yksi Ressun perinteisimmistä tapahtumista. Viime vuonna kulttuuriviikkomme oli Ressun 125-vuotisjuhlaviikko, minkä takia perinteinen kultsaviikko jäi hiukan taka-alalle. Mainittakoon kuitenkin, että viimeisin perinteikäs kulttuuriviikko oli Venäjä-viikko.
Mutta huoli pois, toverit! Kulttuuriviikko tekee paluun ensi keväänä! Vielä emme tiedä, mitä viikko sisällään pitää, mutta yhden asian voimme taata: Silmänne ovat entistä avartuneemmat viikon mittaisen kulttuurivalistuksen jäljiltä. Fossiiliosaston edustajana ja kultsaviikon kokeneena voin todeta, että viikosta tulee varmasti mahtava. Enempää emme paljasta! ;)

It is in fact the 4th of December, and that means there is going to be something tremendously perplexing and exciting! What we are about to reveal to you behind this very 4th door of our calendar is something that only the most hawk-eyed teachers and abis of our school know about…
If you have ever given a thought to the banner with our beloved Putin in the back wall of our cafeteria, your prayers have been answered. The banner was originally inspired by the CULTURE WEEK of 2015, which is one of the most traditional festivities we have here in Ressu. The culture week of year 2015 was Russia-themed, hence Putin. Last spring our culture week was basically the same thing as the 125th anniversary week, so the traditional version was ditched for a year.
But do not worry, comrades! The culture week is planning an epic comeback next spring! We do not yet know what the future holds, but there is in fact one thing we can guarantee; Your point of view will be broadened by the explosion of intercultural context and all the fascinating aspects one culture might contain! As a representative of the mummy-district and one who has experienced the cult week by myself, I can tell you one thing; You’ll love it. And I kid you not, that’s all we got for now.
